LCL adopted since 1 October 2008, the Internet payment security service 3 D Secure VISA and MasterCard.
3 D Secure service is used to secure online payments made by credit card on sites displaying the logo or the logo.

Since July 2010, LCL transmitted by telephone to each transaction 3 D secure a single-use code that can only be used for the transaction. When registering to the service, you must also create a password that will be requested in some situations.
From March 2012, during each transaction on a site 3 D Secure, LCL or you display the phone numbers you have stored at LCL (portable or fixed) to allow you to select for the current transaction the number on which to receive the SMS or voice message.

After the intelligence payment form the merchant's site, LCL window appears and asks you to enter after selecting a single-use code phone number that will be sent for each transaction either by SMS or by post Voice.

In case of incorrect entry code transmitted by LCL, the payment can take place on the 3 D Secure merchant's website.
